Stockton Lake
Ash Grove is located just about 20 miles from the closest arm of Stockton Lake. The 25,000 acres of surface water is surrounded with 298 miles of tree covered shoreline preserved by restrictions forbidding lake front development. In addition to great fishing, Stockton Lake is a preferred choice for sailing enthusiasts while swimmers and sun seekers enjoy the sand beaches. On the 33,000 acres of public use land are miles of trails for horseback riding and hiking, hunting areas, and just the right sprinkling of improved campgrounds and marinas.
